President John O'Donnell Elected to the Board of Directors of The Co-operative Central Bank

We are pleased to announce that on November 7, 2011, at its annual meeting, John M. O'Donnell, President/CEO of Patriot Community Bank was elected to the Board of Directors of The Co-operative Central Bank.  The Co-operative Central Bank was established in 1932 to provide a source of cash reserves for all co-operative banks in Massachusetts.  The Co-operative Central Bank manages the Shared Insurance Fund (SIF) which was established by Legislature in 1934 to provide protection for deposits in Massachusetts chartered co-operative banks above the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) limits.
