Treasurer
Reporting directly to the President of the Bank, candidate will organize and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department and staff, including accounts payable, wire transfers, data entry reconciliations and other normal accounting functions.
Responsibilities will include the preparation and filing of the quarterly FDIC Call Report, preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management, the ALCO/Finance Committee and the Board of Directors. Participate in the interest risk sensitivity modeling. Prepare the budget; measure monthly actual performance agains the budget. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, providing information and recommending process improvements.
Candidate must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
Junior Residenital Mortgage Underwriter
Patriot Community Bank seeks an experienced Jr. Underwriter to pre-underwrite and evaluate all mortgage loan applications. Interested candidate will be responsible for submitting all conventional loans through automated underwriting for FNMA and FHLMC. Candidate will also be responsible for collecting and reviewing all conditions and appraisals before submission for final loan approval. Established experience with investor guidelines a plus. Two to five years experience of similiar or related employment.
Candidate must possess strong analytical skills, exceptional customer service and strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines.
Part Time Bank Staff Accountant
Patriot Community Bank has an immediate opening for a Part Time Staff Accountant. Interested candidate will be responsible for calculating gain on loans sold, reconciling assigned General Ledger Accounts on a daily basis, preparing journal entries, researching and resolving discrepancies. This individual will also assist our Deposit Operations Department.
Candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of bank accounting experience, a good knowledge of Word and Excel, an aptitude for details and accuracy and the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.
