Patriot Community Bank, a growing $147M Community Bank, is currently seeking to fill the position of Vice President/Compliance Officer.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all regulatory compliance-related processes, policies and procedures. This individual will manage the Bank’s compliance, information security, and internal audit programs including development, implementation and ongoing monitoring to ensure that the Bank is in compliance with banking laws and regulations and best practices in the area of bank compliance.
This individual will coordinate all third party compliance/audit relationships and regulatory examinations as well as provide guidance to departments, conduct compliance monitoring reviews and assist in the development and delivery of training.
This position will assist the IT Department in the management of the Bank’s programs in the areas of Information Security, Vendor Management, Record Retention, Bank Secrecy Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and 2-1 CMR 17.00, Standards for the Protection of Personal Information and will help coordinate the institution’s Disaster Recovery Program.
This individual will be responsible for monitoring bank-wide compliance functions which include but are not limited to monitoring the various Federal and State rules, regulations and laws that govern banks, employee compliance training and/or any changes in law or regulation and assisting in the implementation of new compliance programs.
